Strata Titles

The Central Govt has overhauled the lethargic system of state control over matters of apartment development so much so that any inefficiency is not to be tolerated with. Now strata title are to be issued within 12 months of completion - aiming even for 6 month deadline.
On the same subject a Certificate of Fitness of Occupation (CFO) is now being replaced by a Certificate of Compliance and Completion (CCC) which can be issued by approved Architects within 6 months of handing over to the completed development to apartment owners by developers.
All this is seen as a very positive step to kickstart the construction industy as well as creating a better image of a well run governmental machinery. We at Borneo Life see this as a very positive step in the right direction. Again WOW WOW WOW!
